Clayton, MO (KSDK) - A north St. Louis County teen will serve 120 days shock treatment and five years probation for secret photographs and videos of his high school classmates in various stages of undress.
19 year old Dalton Heinle of St. Ann was arrested in April 2011 after officials at Ritenour High School were informed by another student that Heinle was taking pictures of a male student who was changing clothes in a bathroom.
School district officials confiscated Heinle's cell phone and turned it over to authorities.
In all, Heinle was charged with nine counts of criminal invasion of privacy. He was given suspended five year prison terms, placed on house arrest for four months, and will be allowed to transfer his probation orders to the State of Kansas.
Heinle's father was also prosecuted in the case after police in Breckenridge Hills were notified of 50 year old Virgil Heinle dumping a personal computer into a Granite City scrap yard to help cover his son's crimes.
Virgil Heinle pleaded guilty to an evidence tampering charge last May and was also placed on five years probation.
