Gaza City (CNN) - CNN's Anderson Cooper is right in the thick of all the action in Gaza City.

A huge blast went off right behind him as he was live on air Tuesday night. There had been some hope Tuesday the fighting between Israelis and militants in Palestinians might come to a halt.

But so far, the airstrikes keep coming from Israel as Hamas send more rockets their way.

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is in Israel tonight to help broker a truce between the two sides. She's scheduled to meet with Egyptian President Mohamed Morsy Wednesday.

Morsy has been instrumental in trying to help his neighbors put down their weapons.
