St. Louis (KSDK) -- One lane of Interstate 70 will be closed in each direction and the express lanes as part of the ongoing Mississippi River Bridge Project.

The closures will begin at 9 a.m. Thursday.

Crews will pour concrete on a portion of the new Missouri interchange which will connect the bridge to I-70 and Cass Avenue in downtown St. Louis.

All lanes are expected to reopen by 3 p.m. Thursday.
