St. Charles ( KSDK ) -- A handful of residents were forced out into the cold morning after fire erupted at their apartment complex on Fox Chase Drive early Wednesday.
The fire damaged a section of a 2nd-story unit at the Fox Hill Apartments. It was quickly contained by St. Charles firefighters.
The cause of the blaze is unknown.
