Webster Groves, MO (KSDK) - Former KFNS sports radio talk show host Kevin Slaten was charged with assault for allegedly spitting on and threatening a co-worker after the station cancelled his show, the Webster Groves Police Department said Thursday.
According to Andy Miller, a Webster Groves police spokesman, the incident happened November 12 after Kevin Slaten was informed of KFNS' decision.
Slaten threatened KFNS technical operations director Scott Scout and spit on him, Miller said.
Kevin Slaten, 58, was not arrested at the time. He turned himself over to authorities on Monday, November 26 issued a summons for misdemeanor assault. He must appear in court on January 23.
If convicted, Kevin Slaten faces up to a year in jail and a $1,000 fine.
