Chris Nanny charged in Marble Hill stabbing, apprehended in St. Louis

St. Louis, MO (KSDK) - St. Louis police apprehended a man wanted for assault in southeast Missouri early Friday.

Investigators arrested 32 year old Chris Nanny of Marble Hill at 2:25 a.m. Friday morning in the parking lot of the Courtesy Diner in the 3100 block of South Kingshighway.

Officials say Nanny offered no resistance in the arrest.  He's charged in Bollinger County with domestic assault, felonious restraint, unlawful use of a weapon, and armed criminal action after police say he stabbed his girlfriend, and mother of his eith year old daughter and six year old son from the crime scene.  Nanny then dropped the children off at a family member's home in Marble Hill unharmed beforefleeing to St. Louis.

Authorities say they were able to track Nanny's movement through the assistance of Spring cellular and Nanny's cell phone.  The tracking led authorities to locating Nanny on the lot of the Courtesy Diner in south St. Louis.
