Bunker, Mo (KSDK) -- Investigators are searching for two persons of interest who they believe left the state following a fire that killed two children on December 1.
The Reynolds County Sheriff's Department and the State Fire Marshal's Office has been investigating the December 1 fire along Highway 72 in Bunker that neighbors said killed JJ and Charlie.
The boys, ages 3 months and 2 years are from Ellington, Missouri.
The sheriff's office said the investigation revealed that there was a possibility of a methamphetamine lab located inside the residence. They are still working to confirm the information.
Sheriff Tom Volner said several witnesses placed two persons of interest in the area prior to the incident, possibly starting the fire. He said the persons of interest are Josh Maynard and Allen Glasgow. They are originally from the Doniphan, Missouri and Coming, Arkansas area.
Sheriff Volner said Maynard and Glasgow are known associates of the people who lived at the residence.
Anyone with information about Maynard or Glasgow is asked to contact the Reynolds County Sheriff's Office at 573-648-2491.
