ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - NewsChannel 5 has confirmed a school bus was in an accident Thursday afternoon.
The accident happened near the intersection of Taylor and Dr. Martin Luther King in north St. Louis around 4 p.m.
The bus was from Gateway Elementary and Middle School and had 23 students on board. Eight of those students were taken to an area hospital as a precaution.
An investigation to determine the cause of the accident is underway.
