St. Louis County, Mo (KSDK) -- A three-year-old girl has third-degree burns after a St. Louis County man allegedly put her in scalding water.
St. Louis County prosecutors said Lawrence Johnson, 27, was charged with abuse or neglect of a child.
Investigators said Johnson was accused of submerging the child in scalding water on December 5 that burned her buttocks, leg and genitals.
Johnson's bond was set at $75,000 cash-only.
