BRENTWOOD, Mo. (KSDK) - A group of 20 teens dropped off donations at the Foster and Adoptive Care Coalition on Friday.

The high school students are part of the Fred Saigh Leadership Program.

The Coalition is just one of four charities getting a little joy this holiday season.

"Today we are giving back to the community with the charities we had picked. We raised money through our car wash," said Destiny Wright.

Destiny was actually featured on A Place to Call Home nine years ago and was adopted shortly after the segment aired. She really wanted to help kids like herself during the holidays.

You can still help make a child smile this holiday season by granting a wish to a child in foster care.

Visit our Little Wishes page to pick out the perfect present.

We are currently 40 percent of the way to reaching 3,600 wishes.

Thank you for making a difference in the life of a child!
