Belleville, Ill (KSDK) -- A woman who held employees of a Jack in the Box at gunpoint may be responsible for several other robberies.
Belleville police said a customer at the Jack in the Box at 500 S. Illinois St. called police after seeing what appeared to be employees forced into a back room of the restaurant.
Police responded and found the woman holding the employees at gunpoint. The woman surrendered.
Police said the woman fits the description of an armed robber of an O'Reilly Auto Parts in Belleville and the information was forwarded to the O'Fallon Police Department for further review of an armed robbery committed in their area.
