IMPERIAL, MO (KSDK) -- Major Case squad investigators are trying to identify a woman found dead this morning in Imperial.

Jefferson County Sheriff's deputies found the woman near the area of Butler Valley Drove and Antonia Valley Court around 8:30 this morning.  Investigators aren't saying how she died.

She's described as white, between 25 and 40 years old, with brown hair just past the shoulders.  She was wearing a long sleeve red and black shirt, blue jeans and white tennis shoes.
