Salt Lake County, UT (CNN) -- Demand for a Utah company's bulletproof backpacks skyrocketed in the aftermath of the Connecticut elementary school shooting.
The backpacks are made by the Utah-based company Amendment II. They are lined with a light material that can stop handgun rounds.
The backpacks retail from $150-$300. The company says it has seen a worldwide demand for its products, including child-sized body armor, so much so, their website has crashed several times.
