CHESTER, Ill. (KSDK) - The bodies of victims in a high profile murder case are on their way to their new resting place.
The caskets of Sheri Coleman and her two sons, Gavin and Garett, have been exhumed from a Chester, Illinois cemetery.
They were buried in May 2009 when husband and father Christopher Coleman had authority to make the decision.
But Christopher was later convicted of murdering his wife and boys.
Sheri's family now has permission to move the bodies closer to her family in the Chicago area.
Christopher Coleman will spend the rest of his life in prison for the crimes.
