ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - Charges have been filed against a man accused of robbing a south St. Louis bank.
Samuel Hardy, 18, has been charged with theft/stealing, resisting/interfering with arrest for a felony, and assault.
Police say Hardy entered the U.S. Bank located in the 5300 block of Southwest around 4:40 p.m. Wednesday and handed the teller a demand note.
Authorities say he placed a backpack on the counter and left with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Hardy was captured after a short foot pursuit.
The bag and the cash was recovered.
