Gasconade County, MO (KSDK) - Slick roads in Gasconade County are blamed for a head-on crash Thursday evening that left two people dead and two others injured.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred around 6:45 p.m. on Highway 28, west of Baker Road.
State police said a westbound car slid on the pavement of Highway 28, crossed into the oncoming eastbound lane and collided with a truck. Troopers said the driver of the car that went out of control was 49-year-old Alanna Perlman of Rosebud. She and a passenger in the car, 19-year-old Seth Thornton of Owensville, were both killed and pronounced dead at the crash site.
Two people in the truck that was struck, 36-year-old Raymond Bowers and 65-year-old Susan Bowers, suffered injuries and were transported to Mercy Hospital in Washington, Missouri.
