As issues of Spin magazine got thinner and thinner over time, the writing was on the wall. Now it's official: The music mag has shuttered its print version.
The music mag had a good run, though -- 25 years. And Spin's not alone. Paste, Vibe and Blender also fell under the wheels of the digital age.
The end of the physical mag doesn't mean the party's over. Spin has been steadily beefing up their online presence. Earlier this year, Spin announced that its critics will review 1,500 albums over the course of the year via Twitter.
Have they achieved that number? We haven't kept count.
