MADISON COUNTY, Ill. (KSDK) - A 20-year-old Godfrey, Ill. woman has been charged with predatory criminal sexual assault of a child.
The Madison County Sheriff's Office says they received a call at 7:04 p.m. Wednesday from a woman who suspected her child had been sexually assaulted.
An investigation indicated Romanita C. Rogers had engaged in sexual acts with a child under the age of 13 in August 2012.
Rogers was taken into custody Thursday and is held at the Madison County Jail.
Bond is set at $100,000.
