SOUTH ST. LOUIS, MO (KSDK) -- Police are looking for the suspect of a bank robbery in South St. Louis county.
Officials say the UMB Bank inside the Shop-N-Save store in the 5700 block of South Lindbergh was robbed at approximately 5 p.m. Saturday. A white male presented a note demanding money and fled from the bank with an undetermined amount of cash.
The suspect was last seen running across the parking lot. An older model Ford Econoline passenger van with stripes along the side was observed leaving the parking lot at a high rate of speed.
The suspect was described as a white male between 5'4" and 5'6" tall and weighing approximately 200 to 205 pounds. He was observed wearing a tan hooded sweatshirt, a knit style stocking cap, tan or light colored camouflage pants, brown boots and prescription glasses.
