NORTH ST. LOUIS COUNTY (KSDK) -- St. Louis County police are investigating a possible homicide at a North St. Louis County apartment complex. 

Police were called to the Laurel Park Apartments in the 2000 block of Vincennes Drive at 4:30 p.m. Monday for a report of a dead person.

The police officers discovered what appeared to be a gunshot wound on the victim. The case is being investigated as a homicide.  Police did not release the man's name, only describing him as a 39-year-old male

A cause of death has not yet been determined and the investigation is ongoing.
