Raymondville, MO (KSDK) - A man from Dent County died yesterday after losing control of his car in south central Missouri, slamming into a tree and embankment.
Troopers with the Missouri Highway Patrol tell NewsChannel 5 the victim has been identified as 37 year old Gregory Dooley of Salem.
Authorities say Dooley was southbound on Missouri State Route 137 north of Raymondville in Texas County around 1:50 p.m. Wednesday.
Dooley ran off the right side of the road, overcorrected, ran off the left side of the road where he collided with the tree and slammed into the rock embankment.
Dooley was throw from the wreckage of the crash and pronounced dead at the scene. Troopers say he was not wearing a seat belt.
