Dogtown double shooting investigation
ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KSDK) - A double shooting in Dogtown left 1 person dead and another in critical condition, the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department said Thursday.
The shooting occurred at the Oakland Place Apartments in the 6600 block of Oakland Avenue around 5:50 a.m.
One man and one woman were shot, police said. The woman, identified as 26-year-old Tequila Sandford, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The man, who was shot in the head, was rushed to a nearby hospital in critical condition. The victims were in their 20s.

A candlelight vigil will be held Friday in front of the home in which she grew up. The vigil is scheduled for 7 p.m. at St. Louis Avenue.
