Dwyane Wade's shin wished Ramon Sessions' groin a merry belated Christmas on Wednesday night during the Miami Heat's victory over the Charlotte Bobcats.

After Ric Flair visited the Heat in the pregame locker room, Wade did his best wrestling villain impersonation, connecting with Sessions' midsection after a fourth-quarter foul. While Wade and the Heat transitioned after a missed Bobcats layup, Sessions applied a hard foul and was rewarded with a shot to the groin.

Except for Sessions and the Bobcats announcers, no one seemed concerned. Officials didn't assess a foul, some bloggers don't think Wade's move was intentional and reporters didn't even ask Wade about it after the game. At the time of the incident, Wade acted annoyed that anyone wouldn't think it was an accident.

Riiiiiiiiiiiiight. I know that every time I lose my balance, I swing my left leg upward like the Karate Kid to compensate. Try it. Stand on your right foot and lean to your right until you start to fall. Doesn't your other leg kick as if your Sebastian Janikowski attempting a 70-yard field goal? Mine does every time!

"I thought he did it on purpose, and it wasn't called," Sessions said after the game.

If Ndamukong Suh did this, we'd demand a suspension. If Ramon Sessions were named Tim Tebow, First Take would be cutting into ESPN programming to provide special reports. DWade gets a pass for some reason.

Now, that's not to say this was the dirtiest act ever perpetrated on an NBA court. It appeared to come out of frustration rather than malice. If Dwyane Wade really wanted to kick Sessions in the goods, he could have done a much better job of it. This was more like a shin push to the midsection.

But still, a groin shot by any other name is still a groin shot.
