Maplewood, Mo. (KSDK) - The owner of the Wireless Connect Store in the 7200 block of Manchester was attacked by two people as he left his store.
The man told Maplewood police that he was struck with a hammer several times and had multiple cell phones stolen from his store.
Detectives were able to locate the two people involved, Teresa M. Moss, 18, of Maplewood and Arvell Pruitt, 18, of Hillsdale.
Maplewood police arrested Moss, who admitted hitting the employee with a hammer.
Pruitt later turned himself in, and admitted to striking the victim and taking the cell phones, according to the police report.
The two were charged Sunday with first-degree assault and first-degree robbery.
Their bond was set at $100,000 each.
