ALTON, Ill. (KSDK) - Two student deaths since Thanksgiving have the Alton High School student body reeling.
The school held a vigil Thursday night to remember a freshman and a sophomore who died within one month of each other.
School leaders wanted students to know they have the community's support.
Counselor Tami Williams noticed how many students seemed to be struggling with the recent student deaths, so she suggested the vigil, which included grief counselors.
