ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KSDK) - St. Louis police have arrested two people in connection with the murder of a 19-year-old local man.
According to police, the murder took place Thursday, January 3 at 6 p.m. in the 5100 block of Kensington in north St. Louis.
Officers found the victim, identified as Lamont Steward, on the ground with a gunshot wound to the chest. Steward was pronounced dead at the scene.
Detectives successfully identified and arrested two suspects later that night: a 20-year-old and a juvenile.
A motive for the shooting has not been made public and the investigation remains ongoing.
