St. Louis, MO (KSDK) - A north St. Louis woman who admitted robbing a White Castle restaurant by climbing through a drive-thru window to steal a cash drawer will spend the next fifteen years in prison.
34 year old Michelle Faye White pleaded guilty to first degree robbery in November.
Police say White was armed with a toy gun when she went to the White Castle on Hebert Street in August 2011. That's where investigators say she announced a hold-up, then climbed through the window of the drive-thru counter and took the cash drawer around 3:00 a.m.
White fled the scene, but not before her license plate number was recorded by another restaurant patron.
Police tracked White to a nearby residence where she was hiding. As officers closed in, White jumped from the roof of the building where she was hiding, suffering extensive injuries in the fall.
