St. Louis, MO (KSDK) - The man police arrested in connection to a double shooting incident last week that left one man dead and another seriously injured made his first court appearance Monday.
33 year old Kenneth Payne who lives in the 3400 block of Montana on south St. Louis is facing first degree murder charges in the January 3, 2013 shooting death of a 22 year old man who was at the Beauty Queen supply store in the 3900 block of South Grand. A store employee was
Payne is also accused of assault and armed criminal action in the shooting of an employee of the store who was struck by gunfire that was the result of an apparent dispute between the victims and Payne.
The names of the two victims have not been disclosed by police. Meanwhile, Payne remains held without bond and will return to court February 4th.
