JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KSDK) - State Treasurer Clint Zweifel announced that in the first six months of fiscal year 2013 he returned $19.5 million in unclaimed property.
A total of 71,000 accounts were returned, which is an 11 percent increase over the same time frame the previous year.
Zweifel has returned $140 million to more than 450,000 account holders since January 2009.
