ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - A St. Louis man previously charged with first-degree robbery and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia now faces five more robbery charges.
Merrell Burch, 26, was charged earlier this week for robbing a QuikTrip in the 6900 block of Gravois on January 5, 2013 and the Subway restaurant located in the 1600 block of Chippewa on January 7, 2013.
Leah K. Freeman, Public Information Specialist for the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, said on Friday that additional charges were filed against Burch on Thursday.
Burch has been charged with five more counts of first-degree robbery for the following robberies:
December 24, 2012: Walgreens in the 7300 block of Gravois
December 26, 2012: Walgreens in the 3800 block of S. Kingshighway
December 29, 2012: Walgreens in the 5500 block of S. Grand
January 1, 2013: Save-A-Lot in the 4300 block of Loughborough
January 6, 2013: 7-Eleven in the 5600 block of Gravois
Freeman says Burch displayed a weapon in all of the robberies.
No injuries were reported in any of the incidents.
