Subway shop in south St. Louis the latest target of 'smash & grab' burglars

St. Louis, MO (KSDK) - A familiar scene for are police overnight, after another Subway sandwich shop was targeted by burglars in south St. Louis.

This morning's crime occurred just before midnight at the Subway in the 2200 block of South Grand Boulevard near Shenadoah.

Police responded to the business and found a glass doorway on the south side of the building smashed out with a brick.

Once inside the store, officers discovered the cash register was missing, as well as the money contained in the drawer.  Police say the entire incident was recorded on the store's security surveillance camera.

The man police are looking for has a medium build, standing about six foot one or two, wearing a black hoodie, blue jeans, and a black jacket.  He was seen running from the crime scene before police arrived.
