ST. LOUIS COUNTY (KSDK) - St. Louis Outlet Mall announced their new parental escort hours will begin at 3PM instead of 6PM on weekends.
The Parental Escort Policy requires youth 16 and under, to be accompanied by an adult 21 and older if visiting the mall on Friday and Saturday between 3PM and close. Customers that come during this time are required to show a valid form of I.D.
"We want to be pro-active in keeping our mall a family-oriented, quality shopping environment," said David Reed, General Manager of the St. Louis Outlet Mall.
The policy was introduced in 2006, and has been such a success that merchants requested an extension of parental escort hours.
Other Malls have followed suit since the policy's implementation.
