UNIVERSITY CITY, Mo. (KSDK) - Charges have been filed against a man accused of killing two people in October.
Carlos Suber has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder and two counts of armed criminal action.
Police were called to Sutter Avenue and Bartmer Industrial Drive around 2:45 p.m. on October 29, 2012 after receiving a report about two people who had been shot.
Phebe Stallings, 54, and Mosary Stallings, 23, were found with gunshot wounds. They were pronounced dead at a local hospital.
Police said the victims were either approached or met up with a man before the shooting. The man was seen running from the area.
A large quantity of what police believed to be narcotics was found at the scene.
Suber is held on a $500,000 cash-only bond.
