St. Louis, MO (KSDK) - Police have not yet established a motive, but they do have the person they believe shot another man to death Tuesday night.
Officers responded to the call for a shooting just after 9:00 p.m. Tuesday in the 4000 block of North Taylor. That's where investigators found the 26 year old victim lying in the street. The unidentified victim was conveyed to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
Authorities say the man had multiple bullet wounds to the body.
Witnesses at the crime scene gave police a description of the shooter, and not long after, officers arrested the man as he was running through a nearby alley.
No name on the suspect and police are expected to present their evidence to prosecutors later today.
