Victims were alerted to the crimes after police were investigating a report from a 911 caller who told police about hearing noises outside the complex.
Police arrived and found evidence of personal property having been taken from a number of vehicles.
Officers worked the crime scene and scoured the area with the canine team, looking for as many as four potential suspects seen in the area at the time of the clouting of the vehicles.
