Carlinville, Ill (KSDK) -- The Macoupin County Sheriff's Department has called off a search for an endangered, diabetic man who was last seen in Medora, Illinois around 10:30 a.m. Saturday.

Kenneth "Kenny" Stanton, a 78-year-old white male, weighing 200 pounds, and stocky built was last seen in a 2009 GMC full-size red pick-up with a black "flat" bed cover.

Officials say Stanton's vehicle was located shortly after 9:30 Sunday morning.

The investigation is ongoing and NewsChannel 5 will bring you more information as it becomes available.
