BRIDGETON, Mo. (KSDK) - Northbound Lindbergh Blvd. at Interstate 70 was temporarily closed by the Bridgeton Police Department due to an accident.
The eastbound I-70 ramp to northbound Lindbergh Blvd. was also affected, as well as the westbound I-70 ramp to northbound Lindbergh Blvd.
The road was reopen by 3:30 p.m.
Authorities say a single vehicle accident involving a tractor trailer caused the closures. The driver of the truck, leased by Hogan Transport, suffered non-life threatening injuries. He was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
The cargo in the truck was non-hazardous and does not pose a threat to the public or the environment.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
