ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - Monday is a day of giving back for the parents of Teddy Poe.
Poe died of SIDS eight years ago when he was 3-months-old.
Each year Andy and Laura Poe hold a toy drive to donate to St. Louis Children's Hospital. Monday marked their eighth delivery.
The Poes hope to raise awareness about Sudden Infant Death Syndrome, a disease that has no known cure.
Around 3,000 babies die each year from SIDS, most before they are 6months-old.
So far, the best advice doctors can give parents to help prevent SIDS is to put infants to sleep on their backs.
