UNIVERSITY CITY, Mo. (KSDK) - Two people are in custody after a burglary and brief chase.

Police were called to a home in the 6800 block of Plymouth of University City around 2 p.m. Tuesday.

The burglars fled across the border into the City of St. Louis and sideswiped a parked Ford Explorer.

Both suspects were taken into custody.

No injuries were reported.
