ST. LOUIS COUNTY (KSDK) - At least one westbound Interstate 44 lane is shut down as crews work an accident at Highway 141.

Two cars were involved in the accident with a semi around 4:45 p.m. Friday. One of the cars is under the back of the semi, and there are reports of injuries, though the extent is unknown.

Major delays are expected for those traveling on I-44.
