Man notices he's shot goes looking for help at Walgreens

SOUTH ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KSDK) -- A 29-year-old unidentified man was driving down Loughborough Saturday night when he felt blood dripping from his right arm and noticed he had been shot.

The shooting happened sometime after 11 p.m.  Officials say the man kept driving between the 100 block and 3900 block of Loughborough, until he ran out of gas, and then paid someone to drive him to a Walgreens to call his mother.

One of the Walgreen's employees called police.  The man was taken to a local hospital in stable condition. The victim provided several different versions of the incident and Police say the investigation is ongoing.
