Howie Mandel is returning to his judge's chair for his fifth season of NBC's America's Got Talent.
The move was no surprise, and it was revealed on NBC-owned Access Hollywood late Tuesday. A bigger question mark was whether Howard Stern would return for a second season, but that was resolved when he agreed to come back last month.
That leaves one more chair to be filled: Sharon Osbourne, who has appeared on the show since 2007 but called it quits last summer (she remains a panelist on CBS daytime show The Talk).
AGT is reliably summer's top series and unlike American Idol, The Voice and other singing competitions features a wider variety of talent including contortionists, jugglers and comedians. The show relocated to the New York area last summer to accommodate Stern, whose Sirius XM radio show is based there.
