ST. CLAIR Co., Ill. (KSDK) - Three people have been charged with burglarizing a construction company on two different occasions.
St. Clair County Sheriff's deputies were called to Clymer Construction January 6 for a report of a burglary to a vehicle. The owner of the vehicle said three nail guns worth around $250 apiece were taken.
The owner of the nail guns said another employee located the nail guns at a flea market in Fairmont City.
Derek J. Stinnett, a 28-year-old employee of the flea market, has been charged with theft. His bond is set at $30,000.
On January 18 deputies were called to Clymer Construction for a second burglary after $1,500 in power tools were taken from another company vehicle in the parking lot.
The owner of the company said he installed surveillance cameras after the January 6 burglary and gave a copy of the recording to law enforcement.
The video showed a Chevrolet Impala pull into the driveway and a man loading items into his vehicle.
The tools were later recovered at a St. Louis pawn shop.
Ashley L. Geiger, 27, and Gary E. Schultz, 29, both of Caseyville, have been each charged with burglary.
Geiger is held on a $50,000 bond.
Schultz's bond is set at $75,000.
