St. Louis, MO (KSDK) - Police continue to investigate a crash in south St. Louis overnight that involved two cars and a city fire hydrant.
Officers arrived at the crash scene on Chippewa and Sulphur around 1:50 a.m. Friday and found water spilling over the road from a broken hydrant.
Police believe a motorist lost control of their car, crashed into a parked vehicle, then hit the hydrant.
No immediate word on injuries and no word on what caused the driver to lose control of the car.
