(CNN) - A passenger who was aboard the Carnival Triumph has already filed a lawsuit against Carnival Cruise Lines.
In the nine-page complaint, Cassie Terry of Texas describes her last days on the damaged ship as living in a "floating toilet."
The ship lost primary power after an engine-room fire Sunday. It took nearly five days to tow it back to the U.S.
Terry says she and other passengers lived in disgusting conditions, wading through human feces to get to food lines, where she says she had to wait hours for "rations of spoiled food."
Asked what his client was seeking, Terry's lawyer said, "It's too early to put any type of number" on it.
Carnival has offered passengers $500, a free flight home, a full refund, and a credit for another cruise.
