SOMERTON, Ariz. (KYMA/CNN) - Workers at an Arizona recycling plant made a startling discovery Thursday morning.
According to police in Somerton, Arizona, an infant's body was found there. Police now have to figure out where the baby was picked up, which won't be an easy task.
The center receives items from across the city, including weekly home pick up and drop off locations.
Police say they won't release the baby's age, race and gender until an autopsy is completed.
"In the police department we see all different types of cases and any time it's involving a child, and infant, it affects everyone," said Edward Quintero with the Somerton Police Department.
Police say the investigation could take up to two months, and are asking for the public's help.
