EUREKA, Mo. (KSDK) - Six Flags St. Louis will host performer auditions over the next two Saturdays to fill roles for the upcoming 2013 season.
Auditions for singers, dancers, show hosts and street characters will be held at Six Flags St. Louis Palace Theatre on February 23 and Marc 2.
Singers who can dance will audition February 23. Registration is from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m., with auditions beginning at 8:30 a.m. Performers must prepare two contrasting selections (1 country, 1 pop/rock) with music on CD/iPod. No a cappella singing or backup vocals are allowed. Singers should be prepared to dance or do a cold reading.
Dancers, show hosts and street characters will audition March 2. Registration is from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., with auditions starting at 8:30 a.m. Dancers should wear comfortable clothing and dance shoes. Going barefoot or wearing only socks will not be permitted. Dancers may be asked to learn a routine on site. Street characters should bring a t-shirt and compression or standard shorts and must be prepared to be fitted for costumes.
Stage performers must be at least 16 years of age by the beginning of rehearsals and street characters may be 15 years old.
