MoDOT work zone schedule for February 21-27

ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - While the Missouri Department of Transportation prepares for the possibility of icy roads due to the impending winter storm, MoDOT still has several work zones scheduled for the week once the roads clear.

Motorists should be aware of the following on-going closures:

• I-64, St. Louis City, the Vandeventer ramp to westbound I-64 is closed until late 2013.
• I-64, St. Louis City, drivers in both directions will have three shifted, 10-foot lanes between Kingshighway to Vandeventer until November 2013. The rightmost lane of eastbound I-64 will exit at Hampton.
• Wellington, St. Louis City, the Wellington bridge closed over the River Des Peres until April 2013. Detour to Jamieson Avenue bridge.
• I-70, (westbound section of the Interstate 70 Blanchette bridge over the Missouri River) will remain closed until fall 2013. The eastbound I-70 bridge has three lanes of traffic in each direction. The ramp from northbound 5th Street to eastbound I-70 is closed until fall 2013.

• I-64, St. Louis City, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., one eastbound (right) lane on Poplar Street Bridge will be closed for inspection.
• I-64, St. Louis City, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., one westbound lane (right) closed on Poplar Street Bridge for inspection.
• I-64, St. Louis City, westbound exit lane at Kingshighway is closed.
• I-70, St. Louis City, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., one right lane closed westbound from Biddle to Madison.
• I-70, St. Louis City, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., reversible lanes closed Union to Broadway.
• I-70, St. Louis City, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., one eastbound (right) lane closed from St. Louis Avenue to Cass.
• I -70, St. Charles County, 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., one eastbound lane at Route Z/Church Street will be closed.
• I-64, St. Charles County, 10 a.m. and/or 2 p.m., 5-10 minute moving lane closures on eastbound and westbound I-64 for blasting operations.
• Rte. 340, St. Louis County, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., eastbound and westbound various single lane and various ramp lane closed at Rte. 141.
• Rte. 109, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., one southbound merge lane closed just south of Legend's Parkway intersection.
• I-55, St. Louis County, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., two southbound lanes closed between US 61 and Weber Road.

Friday, February 22
• I-70, St. Louis City, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., ramp from I-70 to Broadway will be closed.
• I-64, St. Louis City, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., one eastbound (right) lane on Poplar Street Bridge will be closed for inspection.
• I-64, St. Louis City, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., one westbound lane (right) closed on Poplar Street Bridge for inspection.
• I-64, St. Louis City, westbound exit lane at Kingshighway is closed.
• I-70, St. Louis City, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., one right lane closed westbound from Biddle to Madison.
• I-70, St. Louis City, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., reversible lanes closed Union to Broadway.
