St. Louis (KSDK) - A Dallas man won't forget his trip to St. Louis any time soon.

Joseph Massa was sitting at a stop light at Broadway and Pine Wednesday afternoon when police say a car involved in a rolling gun battle crashed into him.

Massa says the impact pushed his car into the middle of the intersection.

He then heard several gunshots and saw a man running.

"I just didn't want to hear any more gunfire. I was shaken, I don't know if I was cold or injured or what, but I'm fine. It's cold out here," Massa told reporters shortly after the crash.

Massa also says this incident did not change his opinion of St. Louis and he plans to visit again soon.

Police say the whole thing actually started in north St. Louis with people in two cars shooting at each other.

Officers arrested the man who crashed into Massa's car. Police are still searching for the driver of the other car.
