JAMESTOWN, Calif. (KOVR/CNN) - A massive winter storm brought rain, snow and even a tornado to parts of California.
The storm arrived in northern California with a vengeance.
Roads were shut down, traffic jammed, and motorists wrestled with chains.
And here's a twist; a twister ripped apart a California barn, but caused no injuries.
Nature's power is just a playground for a dog and a headache for workers preparing for the Academy Awards on Sunday.
Snow in southern California mountain passes created a traffic nightmare for some motorists. Interstate 15, a major route between southern California and Los Vegas, was closed on and off overnight, and icy conditions Wednesday morning forced the closure of a section of I-5, California's main thoroughfare, for truckers.
The storm could dump as much as a foot-and-a-half of snow in some places across 20 states.
